The full length follow up to the critically acclaimed 2013 album The Sound of One Man's World Collapsing is finally upon us. The Fiction We've Become is the culmination of 5 years of work that saw Caricature's mainman Joseph Spiller go through multiple hospital stints, and a long battle with his health that halted work on the album for nearly 2 years.

When work on the album resumed, many of Spiller's perceptions of the world and those around him had changed and with them came a new focus on the story that needed to be told and the sonic assault that would help that unfold. Where The Sound Of Of One Man's World Collapsing saw Joseph take a look inward, The Fiction We've Become is predominantly a look at the world around and how he interacts with it. From the personas that have arisen through a social media fueled world to the things we tell ourselves to make it through the day.
